"Serving the Children of the World" with Sno-cones at a local event

The Kiwanis Defining Statement: “Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.” clearly indicates the comprehensive goal of what Kiwanis strives to accomplish.

Kiwanis Club of Columbia belongs to a division, a district and an International roster of 8,400 clubs in 96 countries. The goal of Kiwanis International is to have 1,000,000 members by 2015 which will be the 100th anniversary of Kiwanis. In order to achieve this goal, we must empower and recruit an additional 750,000 new members worldwide.

The Kiwanis Club of Columbia was chartered in August of 1920 making it the oldest civic club in Columbia. Our members are positive thinking individuals who work to make our community a better place for all of our citizens.
